Once Esther steps into a shopping mall, she will want to be let loose to roam around. She dislikes us holding her hand, and clearly intented to roam and walk to wherever she like.

Once, when we need to go home, and even wave "Bye" to signal her. Her first actions are to wave back "Bye" to us and then promptly walk away. I think even we disappeared for a while, she will also not get excited, but pretty engrossed in her walkabouts.

Mommy 31st Birthday

Mommy birthday celebration lasted over the whole weekend, from Friday to Monday.

A elaborate Dinner at Ah Yat - Premium Dinner Set with 2 sets of Crab cooked in Salted Egg and Pumpkin Sauce.

 On Sunday, followed a Barbecue dinner at the Dew, followed by Ice Cream Cake Cutting.

 

Wondered what were Mommy Wishes ?

 

 

On the Actual Monday, caught Avatar 3D at Eng Wah, followed by Shopping at Orchard and Catching the Lights up. There was the Marche dinner in between at Somerset 313.

Christmas Carolling

Esther joined Daddy in their first time for a Carolling Session to Maryanne and Pris 's Parents place. Esther was quite uncomfortable with so many new faces around her, but soon warmed up to the music and dance.

Fun filled Weekend

This weekend is all abt Mommy time with her friends. On Sat afternoon, Daddy is left with Esther for 1+ hours in JP. Its funny as she can find the most unusual things to amuse herself - like stacking bottles on the floor at Kiddy Palace. Its hard work of looking out for her, that she does not go missing, get injured or get something damaged.

We went to ToyRus after Church, and spent sometime on a bicycle. Her legs are alomost long enough to paddle through.

Mommy is off with her friends, as Esther spent time with Grandma at home. See her enormous grin, as she fed on Mommy's Milk.

Esther attends Cousins Birthday Party at JWT Kids Gym

Once again, Esther met up with her 3 distant cousins (from Grandfather 's 2nd older brother grandkids). Actually Daddy met them for the 1st time too.

JWT is a super fun child friendly gym, led by a experience instructor, who was the host for the party. Kids that are aged 5-8 will definitely love it, as Esther chanced around the soft carpet to do slides, hang and run  around.

Esther's favourite slide, as she did it almost 30-40 times.

Time for a break, getting fed by Grandpa.

Team exercise starts with the instructor barking orders. Esther joined in the fun - lie on your back and wriggled on your front. Poor darling got knocked down and cried, once the children started running round the circle.

While the big boys ate, Esther hopped in the swing designed for ages 3 and below.

Good Report as Esther turns 22 months

Esther has a good report on her medical checkup..

Height = 86cm (75 percentile)
Weight = 10.8kg (50 percentile)
Head circumference 46cm (25 percentile)

Though her head is a bit smaller, its not a big concern as she is meeting all her learning curves..
Thus, Esther is a tall girl with average weight and a slightly small head.

Safety First

Esther 1st stage performace for Seeds Sch Graduation Ceremony 2009

There is full attendance turnout for Esther 1st performance on stage. She is going to don in Pink Tights and long Sleeved collar white shifts for her Ribbon Waving performance.

Tickets, Schedules and Souvenior Cards on show.

Esther started her rehearsal in a crying mode together with her close friend.

Look like a worship event, but actually a dance around induced by the supervisor Ruth. Kah Loong was actually caught catching some nap time before the event started.

Esther started her actual performance in nice mode, a bit of ribbon swinging, did a smile, before she caught everyone looking at her. Hence she started to wimper, but held strong. Then she began to wander off and took her eyes off her performance. No problem, its the learning experience that counts.

Finale - Everyone comes out and Esther started disappearing into the crowds, before 1 kind auntie picked her up.

Esther Takes to the bars

Our normal walks to the fitness corner brought a new surprise that Esther can and like to hang on bars. After Daddy demonstrated some moves, Esther promptly copied and hanged on the bars, lifting her legs up and even slightly lifting herself up. Gym classes could be next :)
