Mummy's eating habits

Today I had 1 hr-hour buffet lunch at sakura with colleagues..Managed to eat quite a lot (minus the raw salmon sashimi of cos), despite keeping in mind that i should not eat too much so that i would not be too bloated. Nowadays, i tend to get hungry more easily, especially in the morning and have to eat small bites frequently to prevent hunger & nauseousness.

Esther swimming better

Esther 2nd time with the arm floats , got her in the postures of freestyle and backstroke. I can even leave her alone in the pool without her freaking out.

Fitness corner become Esther obstacle course

A short walk downstairs with Esther brought us to the fitness corner. daddy started running round the stations and Esther followed suit. Esther showed plentiful of energy running around, bursting in laughter and giggles. And she did not seem a bit tired at the end.

Esther floats independently

Mommy suggested putting the Barbie arm floaters on Esther's arms when she went for swimming yesterday. A nice surprise awaits us when daddy brought her to the big pool and found out that she can float effortlessly. We immediately took the camera and snap at her floating independently . Her strong shoulders easily help to hold her body and head up above waters . And she seems not fearful at all but proud with new achievement.

Star Gym classes

Esther 2nd gym lesson was impacted with new moves , though she was restless in the group activites.

She did the:
1) balancing on the ladder
2) rolling over her head
3) jumping down from her height and doubled it.

Esther says 'Moses'

One of Esther's favourite character in the Baby Faith DVD series could be Moses.  She confidently said 'Moses' while looking at the DVD cover for 'God loves babies' and pointing to the picture of the bearded puppet. Mummy is so proud of her.

2 lines = a strike

The first branded pregnancy kit was tested invalid meaning no lines came out. The guide says that too little or too much urine can spoilt the kit ??

No problem, we bought a housebrand and used the careful method of dipping instead of streaming on it.




Congrats to Esther as she is getting a silbing soon.

What happened when Daddy was away

1) Esther got a toy dog, compliments of Yi Mar
2) Esther poured water onto the bed when Mommy was preparing milk. Esther gleefully hid behind the pole while Mommy scolded her and cleared the mess. After the saga was over, she thankfully held out her arms for an embrace.
3) Esther fell off the big bed during sleeping. Thank God, no injuries are felt

Esther has a new friend Rocky

It was indeed an exciting day for Esther on Sunday because Yi-Ma Evelyn brought her to the 'Build-A-Bear' shop at harbourfront so that she can choose her own custom-made plush toy.

Esther is quickly fascinated with the animals which could roller-scate. Thus the shortlisting begun with firstly confining to mainly four legged animals who could roller-scate and balance well..That brings us to only ponies, dogs, unicorns and a tiger..Esther decided on a chihuahua white dog which looks stout and could balance and move well with its blades on. The dog is christined 'Rocky' as suggested by Yi-Ma.

The process could be outlined as follows:
1) Choosing the skin for Rocky
2) Stuffing the skin with cotton wool by stepping on the peddle which controls the stuff of cotton wool from a see-thru machine
3) Inserting the sound chip
4) Esther choosing the Rocky's heart and praying over the heart and kissing it before inserting it into its body
5) Scrubbing Rocky at the cleaning station
6) Choosing the clothes, footwear and skates for Rocky
7) Making the birthcert for Rocky at the naming station

Rocky costs a whooping sum of $121 and most of the costs came from the shoes and skates as Rocky has 4 legs and thus would need 2 pairs of shoes & skates each.

But looking at Esther grinning widely in the car while hugging Rocky?  Priceless

Esther shouts 'Daddy Daddy!'

As if knowing that Daddy has gone off to the airport (to Xiamen), Esther woke up at 7am and shouted 'Daddy! Daddy' and pointed to the main door..Alas Daddy has already left since 6am..Grandma told her..'Daddy has gone to work work..'

Esther graduates from the playground

Esther manages to scale the highest peak in the neighbour playground. Just when she is enjoying, she was to litterly carried kicking and complaining away cos it was 9+ at night,

Esther revealing her personality

Nowadays, Esther is starting to speak and show her intentions and feelings.

When she says no, she really enforces on it. Last night, Gu pour wants to leave the balloons behind, but she insist Gu pour take them away, which went Esther way.

She go to Church and school willingly. She identifies yi Mar and pour pour with fun and likes them more than the stricter Ma Ma.

She is no longer fearful of larger beings and large crowds.

She likes to be independent when she walks and not to use the car seat should she has a choice.

She insists on her fave DVDs and tv shows

She enjoys a big bed where she can roam and roll.

She likes Shadow cat and Hammer dog

Of course, when she become too rebelious, everybody get mad and stressful.

When Esther shows her intelligent side and displays her wisdom, she becomes an absolute angel that everybody loves.

Blessed Easter weekend

Friday was our tour group get together, where Esther finally met up with baby Nat.




Sat was a lunch prepared by auntie Mellisa. While Esther took a long long time to befriend uncle chue, it only took less than 2 hours for Esther to be with very good fds with tall Indian uncle Mahas. I think Esther has grown up to know who are fds and who are foes.




Sunday was delicated to church for Jesus resurrection. Auntie Clara accompanies Esther out after a fun filled morning.
