Esther attempts to whim off diapers

Teacher Nika offers to help Esther whim off her diapers in school. Hence on Monday she will start not wearing diapers to school. Her first attempt on the Noel only yielded a bit of urine . Subsequent times, she demand the diaper to pee in.

Esther drink Mommy milk again

To our surprise, Esther expressed interest in drinking mommy just expressed out milk. And she finished the whole bottle, and showed off to everybody.

On the next day, she again expressed interest in Mommy milk, which was a thaw bottle from fridge. Then she only feed a bit, and stop. Mommy was so angry that Isaac 2 feed of milk is abt to go to waste. She only finish half the milk bottle in school.

Later at night she wanted another chilled 100 oz , which she gamely finished it.

Meet the teacher session June11

Teacher Nika and Liu gave their assessments of Esther's 6 months progress in school.

Esther is so alike Daddy, shy and non initiative . However when asked upon , she will give definitive answers. Though she does not take the initiative to approach her friends, her friends like to look for her to play with.

Esther's English is good among her peers like Eva and Oliver. Her Chinese is above average. Esther also knows which language to communicate in, depending on her different friend's preference.

Esther drawing/coloring is deemed very good by teacher Liu, as the quality is beyond her age group.

Esther favorite session is art and craft. She is often impatient for her turn and has to be asked by her teacher to slow down her enthusiasm.

Esther appetite is good, often whooping down 2-3 portions of food, even after drinking 2 packets of milk. She is also not a fussy eater in school, even eating vegetables as well.

She also enjoys reading, flipping thru english and chinese books for nice visuals.

Overall, she is progressing well in here cognitive skills, motor skills, literacy & numeracy skills, social and emotional development as well as performs well in art & craft and music & movement.

Isaac want to bao bao

I believe Isaac is like Esther, like to be carried. However, he will make known his displeasure by letting out his loud whining and shrieking sounds. He is unlike his sister, who would cried.

Isaac make Mommy Angry

On Sat night, Isaac was finding very hard to fall asleep, as he get waking up after putting on the cot. He would just blared out crying. Once, when Mommy was just turning him around to feed him, he was cried loudly, resulting in Mommy scolding him angrily. Then we also left him crying on the cot for too long, when he took that I was the instigator, he was crying, pinching, grabbing and hitting me, when I took him up.

Only after a long 2 hours of patting, then he finally rested.

Isaac takes to Mommy spoon feeding

Isaac was very on on the organic fruity food that Mommy spoon fed to him. His tongue was always twisting , ready for the next feed, and quickly finished the half portion.

Isaac turns 6 mths old

Isaac took his first semi solid food, and was fussy abt it. He gave the irky look, and finished with a fart, that soiled Mama shorts and the sofa cushions.

Isaac getting restless before sleep time

Isaac normally will go to deep sleep after his last milk feed, but oftenly Esther will either talk or play loudly, to disturb and wake him up. Sometimes Mommy got so angry, that both of them got into a quarrel. Esther will storm out of the room to find Mama, but then swiftly returned to secure her place on the Bed.

Isaac will be quick difficult to be coax back to sleep. Even though he is well asleep in the arms, but once put down on the cot, he will be crying. The trick of getting him a fan and changing his diaper after peeing, helps in getting him asleep thru the night.

Isaac 5-6 months vaccination

Isaac weigh in 8.1 kg, 69 cm and 46 cm head circumference. The vitals are well above 75 percentile , except for the head is so big > 100 percentile .

Isaac took 2 jabs on both thighs, in which he did not cry on the 1st jab. So cool.

Isaac 1st Swim

After fitting in his little trunks, Isaac is down on his float in the pool with Esther. Isaac was cool to the water, like his sis. But when Esther purposely splashed water on his face to his anguish , he did not cry, unlike his sis.

Esther 's Speech and Drama class Report

The trainer gave an overview on the content of this term's lessons. The main theme is on animals. Esther was shy at the beginning, but warmed up after 2-3 lessons.. She even started to share about herself! During one of her sharings, she said she likes Mickey Mouse. She also enjoys the drama segment very much. She likes to act as animals and once she has decided on an animal role and likes it, she will not change into another animal role.

On Daddy and mummy off day, Isaac came along to watch the 3D Kung Fun Panda 2 at SDC. Just like Esther did, he felt asleep during the show , and everyone enjoyed the movie

Isaac getting stronger and faster

We cannot leave Isaac on the bed unattended, as he can easily flips himself, and shuffles to one side. No pillow or bolster can stop him.

Esther likes to read

When we fetch Esther from school really late, like 6.35pm, she is always found to be reading some book. Upon our arrival, she will quickly returned the book back to the library.
