Daddy Birthday

As usual the day is just a ordinary day for a simple man. After Sending Esther to school, daddy and Mommy went to hike the Bukit Timah Hill, but took the easy way out, as Mommy was still nursing her bed bug bites. Mommy treated Daddy to a 1 for 1 Swensen Lunch.

The afternoon was long, as Esther took time for her nap, before going off to the Sci Center and Omix for a Under the Sea Show. Esther managed to sit thru 25 mins, before getting restless and roaming around.

 

The we proceeded to Ginza Plaza for Dinner. This time, Mommy treated us to Tian Xiao Er. We spent more than $50,and Esther got treated to a Rubber Float Bounce. We guessed this is the highlight of Daddy's Birthday 

 

Esther 2 years Birthday Bash

Started the celebrations at Care Group on 26/1. Esther behaved well towards the cake cutting.

Another round of cake cutting during Esther Classes, hence the whole class joined in to wish her happy Birthday. Esther got too scared, and needed Mommy support.

This trip would be remembered for all the good and bad reasons.

  The place is hot and humid, but the airconditioning is not working at all, so you are always sweating.

  Mosquitoes biting you in the Hotel room, before you can attempt to sleep

  Esther given a surprise Birthday cake and Doremon Plush

  Turtle eggs being stolen and sold openly in the wet market

  The most heart wrenching seeing Esther right 3rd/4th fingers got trapped on the closing lift door edge, before Mommy screams made us pull her fingers away at the last moment. Mommy felt so distraught and Daddy so heart-broken to see Esther Cry so badly. The holy spirit made Mommy spot Esther Fingers, and shout loudly, but prompting Daddy to see in required direction. It all happened in milli seconds, to pull her finger out in time. All Esther had was 2 slightly swollen fingers, only at close sight. All the glory to God for the divine protection, but still gave us a fright. At that moment, Daddy was so sad and heart broken to see Esther in that state, and wish upon anything for her good well being. I know that why parents would sacrifice for their children.

Rolling down the stairs

While Esther was having her usual walk at the back garden with the wooden pathway, she missed a step and fell down the stairs (3 steps). She slowly rolled down at the side (like a pillar log) and then at the final step, she rolled head on. Mummy carried her while she cried for a while, though no tears...she proceeded to the fitness corner area and did her usual swinging holding on to the pole. She forgot the stairs episode cos after the fitness corner area, she proceeded to the same spot to practice her climbing up and down of stairs.

New Bed

We are delibrating over a small bed from Ikea or a big bed with shelves from Defu. End Decision, small bed from Ikea.

Final Result: She likes it, but using it all the time will be a challenge.

Graduation to Sunday School

Esther attended the Champions 4 classes, which is a step up and clearly separated babies from toddlers. Gu Zie cannot accompany her anymore. Now she is on her own.

The carers anointed her hands with oil before going in. And she cried on her way in. However, she was ok once inside, finishing her bread and biscuits. Even when she saw MaMa before being fetched, she did not cry, can even say hello back and went back on her business.

Esther starts to respond back

Suddenly on Friday: 1st day of the 2010, Esther starts answering back, with 'Yes', 'No', 'I dont want', 'I want', when we ask her whether she want to drink milk, eat bread or .....

On a happy mood, she says 'Hello', 'Bye','Thank You' and 'More' ever so much.

Now, we cannot force her to do something, till she agreed or be convinced.

New Year Eve Party 2009

Esther are seeing her friends again since CNY, and this time every kid turn up.

She used the Princess Bed Slide to her delight and got a few bumps, either from other kids sliding into her or bumping into her.

If kids touched her, she angrily brushed their hands off. If she got bumped, she would " Ah Yo !" to me or Mommy.

Complaining to Mommy, that Auntie Jasmine Maid carried her up.
